Erasmus+
As an Erasmus Student at the Department of Informatics at the University of Piraeus, you will have the chance to take courses, attend seminars, volunteer and explore the city of Piraeus!
The University of Piraeus is divided into 4 Schools:
1. School of Economics, Business and International Studies (Link)
2. School of Maritime and Industrial Studies (Link)
3. School of Finance and Statistics (Link)
4. School of Information and Communication Technologies (Link)
The Department of Informatics is in the School of Information and Communication Technologies.

PROCEDURE
A.Before arrival
As long as the International Office receives the nomination letter (official approval) from your University that you have been selected to attend the Erasmus+ Mobility program for a specific period you will be asked to send the International Office the following:
- Student Application form
- Learning Agreement form (Before Mobility)
- Housing Application form
- European Health Insurance Card
- Passport (photo) or identity card (photo)
*The Student must have a certificate (letter of acceptance) from their Home University stating that they have been selected under the Erasmus+ programme. This certificate is necessary for their registration
B. Registration for Erasmus + students (arrival at University of Piraeus)
Upon arrival, all incoming students are obliged to attend the Orientation Day which takes place at the University of Piraeus (exact dates will be announced). After that, they can be enrolled at the Department they have been accepted.
The documents needed for the enrolment of exchange students at the Secretariat of their Department are the following:
- Two (2) personal photographs
- A copy of passport or identity card
C. Before Departure
Students must visit the International Relations Office before their departure to receive:
- Original Arrival & Departure Certificate
- Confirmation of Stay
- Official Learning Agreements
You are requested to send an email to the International Relations Office regarding your departure at least 2 days prior to your Departure!

OFFERED SERVICES
• Library
As an Erasmus Student at the University of Piraeus you have full access to the library and the electronic depository of the University using your Student ID. Learn more about the Library of the University of Piraeus here (Link)
• Restaurant
Erasmus Students can use the University Restaurant for free 3 times per day (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner). The University Restaurant is closed during national holidays and breaks.
• Healthcare
You can visit the University Doctor for free. His Office is at the ground floor of the University.
• Student Support
The Student Support Office is available for Erasmus students. Specialized advisors are available to support the students during their transitions and integration to the University life. • Sports' Activities
You can use the gym facilities of Panteion University, using your Student ID.
• Student Groups
As an Erasmus Student you can be a part of the student groups of our University. Here is a description of our student groups (Link).
• Tour in Piraeus & Trip to Sounio
Each year we organize a trip to Cape Sounio and the Temple of Poseidon. Tours are also organized in Piraeus, the Archeological Museum of Piraeus and the Municipal Art Gallery of Piraeus.
• Student ID Discounts
Holders of Student IDs benefit from discounts in public transport and other educational and entertainment activities.
