Laboratory of Integrated Computer Systems

The Embedded Systems Lab (ESLab) @ Department of Informatics, School of Information and Communication Technologies, University of Piraeus is specialized in the design of Reliable Embedded Systems, and in particular in the development of hardware and software-based methodologies for the validation, testing and fault tolerance of embedded systems with emphasis in embedded processors and Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs).

The main research interests of the ESLab include, but are not limited to, the following topics:
• Autonomous microprocessor-based reliability (test, validation, fault tolerance)
• Fault-tolerant methodologies for SRAM-based Field Programmable Gate Arrays
• Accelerating computations with reconfigurable hardware
• FPGA-based systems for industrial applications
