6/2/2019: Workshop on Artificial Intelligence
2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017: "STUDIES AND CAREER IN INFORMATICS": The goal of the workshop is to provide valid and up-to-date information to current and prospective students of the Department of Informatics, as well as to any other interested party, regarding the undergraduate and postgraduate study programs offered by the Department of Informatics of the University of Piraeus, its research and academic activities, and the career prospects of its graduates.
Spoudase 2017: Within the framework of the participation of the Department of Informatics of the University of Piraeus in the "Spoudase 2017" Event (http://www.spoudase.gr/spoudase_2017), a panel discussion was organized by the Department of Informatics on Saturday, June 24, 2017, at 15:00. The event took place at Technopolis City of Athens in Gazi (Amphitheater (9.84)), under the title: "Studies in Informatics – Telecommunications as a Lever for Growth and Progress, Employment Prospects". Leading Telecommunications and Networking companies operating in Greece participated in the panel.
December 2014: "EY meets the University of Piraeus and empowers the IT Talent Hub!"
The NetLab laboratory organizes and participates in workshops featuring distinguished speakers from both industry and academia (Cybersecurity Month celebrations, Cloud Computing workshops, presentations on intellectual property issues).
