Prof. Charalampos Konstantopoulos

Charalambos Konstantopoulos received his Computer Engineering degree from the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics of the University of Patras in 1993 and his Doctorate in Informatics from the same department in 2000. Today he is a Professor in the Department of Informatics of the University of Piraeus with the subject "Algorithms and Complexity ». His research interests include parallel and distributed algorithms, mobile computing, sensor network algorithmic topics, as well as algorithmic techniques for optimization problems. He is also an Experienced Associate Researcher of the "Diofantos" Institute of Computer Technology and Publications. He has published more than 90 articles in prestigious international scientific journals and proceedings of recognized international conferences, in publishing houses such as IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, Wiley, ACM. He has also published 7 chapters in books by well-known publishing houses. He has been a member of the technical program committee in many recognized international conferences, a member of the Editorial Board in two well-known international journals, a reviewer of articles in also well-known international journals, an invited editor in 4 journal issues while he is also the editor of a collective volume published in Springer . Finally, he has participated as a researcher in many research and development projects whose funding comes from the European Community and the Greek State.
