Evangelos Sakkopoulos is Associate Professor in the Department of Informatics at the University of Piraeus in the field of Personalized Software Technology. He received his PhD from the Computer Engineering and Informatics department of the Polytechnic School of the University of Patras.
His research interests include Custom Software Technology, Mobile Programming, Web Programming, etc. He has more than 60 publications in international journals and conferences with judgment on these subjects. He participates in the technical committees of European Regulations of the EU for Internal Affairs issues. He has taught a series of courses at Greek Universities such as Software Technology Specializations (postgraduate course), Object Oriented Programming (Java, etc.), etc. He has also participated in a series of European and national research programs with ICT applications in education, culture, internal affairs, shipping, etc.
